Commission and payouts
The platform takes a commission on a sale. The rate goes down as your all-time turnover grows: 25% while the turnover is under $1M, 20% on turnover above $1M, 15% on turnover above $10M. Past sales are not recalculated: each payment is charged at the rate of the turnover before it. Turnover is counted per selling company, in dollars at the official rate on the date of each sale, without VAT and net of refunds. Rates may differ for particular countries, and a company may have its own rate under its contract.
Founding sellers programme: a company that publishes its first solution within the marketplace's first year pays 15% straight away — for three years from the publication date.
Your rate, your turnover and how far the next tier is are shown in the seller cabinet.
The buyer pays the platform against an invoice. Once the payment is marked, your share is accrued to the seller balance: an accrual belongs to one subscription, so what a sum is made of is always visible.
Payouts from the balance, refunds and topping up for a growing number of seats are a separate contour, still being built. Until it is ready, settlement happens by hand — and the accruals in the cabinet are the same figure.
